The „Vedas“ are ancient writings on comprehensive knowledge united in a multitude of texts that were first transmitted orally, in the form of „mantras“ (poems), and were only later recorded. They originated more than 2000 years ago on the territory of today’s India, transmitted in Sanskrit, and since this language has many similarities with the Serbian word „vede“, as a synonym for the acquisition and transmission of knowledge, is part of many words we use in everyday speech… History is written by winners, they say, the language remains. So it is not impossible at all, as some alternative theories claim, that Serbs (Slavs) are natives of this area, that they moved a lot, and that they are in one from their migrations they went all the way to India…
Vede IT was founded by IIB in early 2011. Since we were then rich in more than 20 years of experience in sales, implementation and support of information systems based on UPIS (Management-Business Information System), the first domestic ERP solution, our desire was that comprehensive knowledge, embodied in software, methodology and people, we offer to small and micro enterprises. Therefore, for the first 9 years of its existence, Vede IT has been exclusively engaged in the implementation of Mali UPIS, an ERP solution adapted to most domestic businesses that is easy to use, does not require large investments, and can grow alongside the organization.
In July last year, there was an organizational transformation. We have combined experience and youth: experienced consultants from IIB as well as the largest partner company KeyIT have joined Vede IT, and we have hired several new people. The new and „improved“ company did not stay only on Mali UPIS, but deals with the sales, implementation and maintenance of all UPIS ERP solutions and their functional add-ons, as well as several, world-famous and recognized, solutions for production planning and management. In the coming period, we plan to further expand our business, apply new technologies and improve communication with customers who are largely responsible for the fact that UPIS is today one of the most comprehensive ERP solutions on the Serbian market.
