Our partners from IIB company organized their annual gathering- „ERP Meetings“, and this event, the 17th so far, was held at the „Izvor“ hotel in Aranđelovac from September 18 to 20, 2025, where nearly 200 employees, partners, friends and users gathered to exchange experiences, socialize and celebrate an important anniversary: 35 years of IIB company!
The gathering began on the afternoon of September 18. After registration and a welcome cocktail, the meeting was opened, followed by a lecture on e-Delivery Orders, where the lecturers shared their experiences and challenges with the audience when implementing them in business. Then Uroš Bogdanović gave a lecture entitled „Secrets of YouTube and other marketing lies“, where he shared his experiences regarding the podcasts he created and introduced us to new trends in branding and advertising. After dinner, an IIB quiz was held. This year, all participants could play, who with the help of mobile phones gave answers in the knowledge quiz, guessed an unknown personality, and then confirmed the title of winner through bowling accuracy. In parallel, a bowling and table tennis tournament was held, and the participants could also play billiards or choose another activity at their discretion.
A day later, on September 19, it was the turn of the headlines. Miloš Bošnjak gave a lecture on 35 years of IIB. Those present were able to find out how IIB was created, how it grew and developed, as well as where it is now and what its plans are for the future. The presentation included numerous quotes from Dušan Bošnjak, the founder of IIB, as well as a short film that was filmed back in 2008. Then Ivica Smolić gave an interesting lecture entitled „Topics and dilemmas of business, without AI“, where he shared with the audience some interesting experiences he has gained in many years of consulting work, concerning the structure of ownership, employees, management… Then Miloš Bošnjak gave another lecture, on trends in the ERP market in Serbia, and after him Jelena Jakovac Čolić, senior consultant and leader of the implementation team at VedeIT, gave a lecture on UPIS news and some functionalities that have long existed and can make working in the software easier, but are often overlooked by users. After a break, Draško Veličković from Pekom and Ana Solomun, senior consultant at VedeIT, spoke about their experience in implementing MES software, both from the client’s and consultant’s perspectives. Another break followed, after which Marko Radulović from Metalac Group shared with the attendees his experiences regarding the implementation of BI solutions in his company, and after him Mirko Smolić spoke about his experiences in working with the AI service ChatGPT 5.0 through the example of creating a balance sheet and income statement based on data available in the ERP database. At the end of the lecture, those who filled out an anonymous survey participated in the IIB raffle, where the luckiest winners were awarded valuable prizes. After the official part of the program, the participants could go on an organized walk to the top of Bukulja, swim in one of the pools of the „Izvor“ hotel, or continue socializing in their own arrangement. At 8 p.m., a gala dinner was held. At the beginning of the event, IIB reminded its most loyal users to whom it awarded plaques for 10 years of loyalty (Veles), 15 years (Perun), 20 years (Svarog), 25 years (Svetovid) and 30 years (Triglav)… After the plaques were awarded, a musical program and entertainment followed that lasted until late at night.
On the last day of the ERP meeting, after breakfast and check-out from the hotel, an excursion to Oplenac was organized. Accompanied by a licensed guide, we visited the mausoleum and votive church of the Karađorđević dynasty, the house of King Peter and the wine museum, where a small tasting was organized along with the tour.
We are returning from these ERP meetings full of positive impressions and we hope to repeat something similar, at a different location, next year.
